A traditional luxury estate transformed to a contemporary home.

Situated in the uphills of Santa Barbara, the Lilac Residence is transformed from a traditional luxury estate to a contemporary home.

Preserving the decorative and original architecture of the home, we wanted to bring in more sunlight all throughout to reflect the beautiful country-like landscaping that is presented outdoors.

Through the usage of warm white colors and accents of gold tones accessories, lights, furniture, the home was brought into a new light that brings nature indoors.

The usage of paint color also created intimate nooks for lounging, in the most unexpected and grandeur places.
